1) CHOOSE YOUR PROGRAM

EC or your EC approved agent can arrange this for you. You can skip this step if you wish and decide later on in your EAP journey where you wish to study after completing the program.

2) ONLINE ENGLISH TEST

Take the online English test (25 multiple choice questions) on our EC website: www.ecenglish.com/en/englishtest along with our writing test. Or supply evidence of your recent IELTS score with your application.

3) REACH YOUR ENGLISH GOAL

Improve your English skills in one of our EC schools in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
4) ENTER COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY

Once you reach the required English level, enter a university or college without IELTS/Cambridge test results.

5) ENJOY YOUR NEW FUTURE

Your new skills and qualification will open the doors to your new future!

PROGRAMME DETAILS

English for Academic Purposes is an intensive course that provides a pathway to our educational partners. It combines intensive English language learning with academic study skills training, equipping you with the tools you need to excel in your education.

The Australian Pathways and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course starts every 5 weeks in EC Sydney and EC Melbourne, and every 10 weeks in EC Brisbane. These start dates only apply to students enrolled in EAP. Students studying General English or IELTS can start any Monday.
